What are you passionate about?

Last Sunday the message centered around Nehemiah’s activity of building the wall around Jerusalem. Nehemiah became burdened by the need for this wall to reestablish a holy people set apart for God’s purposes.  His passion became the fuel to make it happen.  In fact, as we read in the Scriptures this wall was finished in 52 days!  What passion!  What energy!  What an accomplishment! Haiti Cultivation Trip – April 2011

We had a very productive trip to Haiti.  Our most important priority was to build relationships with the Deaf Haitian population at the camp in Port Au Prince.  Also we continued the work of preparation for future mission teams to come, stay, and work on our God-sized Transformation Project among this group of people.  I feel more confident that our church is moving in the right direction as we begin our long-term relationship with the Deaf of Haiti.  Below you will find a picture of Ronald (left) and Tompe (right) who are native Haitians and employees of 410 Bridge.  This was the second time that we were with Ronald and Tompe.  These two guys have great hearts for Jesus and what God… Read more

The question is “Are You All In?”

The question is “Are You All In?” I was overwhelmed last Sunday with the enthusiastic response of many who echoed the words – I’m All In For Jesus! But one individual left me in utter amazement. At the end of the 11 a.m. worship service I was shaking hands and greeting many of the adults in our congregation when standing before me was a boy, around 10 years old. He had a wad of money in his hand and simply said, “Can I give this money for the deaf people in Haiti? It is all I have, but I want them to have it.” I accepted his gift of generosity, yet I stood there stunned!
