Today we celebrate Father’s Day. It is a day we honor our fathers who have taken on the responsibility of raising the next generation. To be a Christian parent in today’s world is a difficult task. You have heard it said, “Cleanliness is next to Godliness,” but I say to you that “Cleanliness is NEXT to holiness.” Growing up playing outside with friends, I know I must have heard this phrase many times from parents and especially grandparents. ”Wash your hands and face, cleanliness is next to Godliness.” What exactly does that mean?
