From Montgomery to Haiti to DC!

Okay, so when you begin a project you never know where it will take you.  This past week I travelled to Washington DC to meet with some folks from Gallaudet University (a school for the Deaf) who started an organization called “Friends of Deaf Haiti.”  This meeting was to further our communication about our plans to help the Deaf in Haiti.  A fascinating meeting indeed for someone like me who has been part of the hearing world my whole life.  As I stepped onto the campus at Gallaudet you could immediately tell that this was not your typical college campus.  There were lots of sounds – birds chirping, water cascading from nearby fountains, footsteps of people walking by, candy bar… Read more

BLOOD IS THICKER

The Frazer Family is AMAZING!

As we continue to pray and provide for the many people who were affected by the tornados of last week, I was amazed with the outpouring of love from the Frazer Family. As many of you know, we collected specific items at the church from 8am-9pm on Sunday. When all was said and done, we collectively offered over 55 pallets full of water, diapers, clothing, etc! AMAZING! Yesterday, three large trucks left the Frazer parking lot for Elmore County and North Alabama to deliver these goods as promised. Thanks to all of you who participated especially the many volunteers who collected, palletized, and loaded the trucks for distribution. And a big thank you to the truck drivers!
